New boys Tru Juice beat Molynes to go top of JPL

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Promoted side Tru-Juice extended their strong start to the Jamaica Premier League on Sunday as they edged Molynes United 1-0 at Stadium East to take over the lead in the points table.

Tru-Juice are joined by Montego Bay United on seven points after the St James-based club ended Racing United’s perfect start, winning 1-0 in the first game of a double header at Drewsland.

Meanwhile, defending champions Portmore United made a winning start to their title defense, beating Humble Lion 4-1, while Mt Pleasant FA got their first win, beating Dunbeholden 2-0.
