Jason DaCosta reminded everyone, on Saturday, May 23, 2026, why he’s the four-time defending champion trainer, saddling four winners to highlight the nine-race card.
DaCosta’s winning quartet were Purosangue, Himaya, Fred The Master, and Eye of the Tiger, giving him a commanding presence on the day’s programme.
The standout performance came from American-bred Purosangue, ridden by Tevin Foster, who romped to an easy 8 ¼-length win in the $1.05-million Maiden Special Weight for native-bred and imported three-year-olds over one mile (1,600m).
