Kaieteur News – One of the newest entries into Guyana’s mining sector is moving closer to acquire mineral claims covering approximately 64.75 square kilometres (km²) in the northwest mining district, in a deal valued at US$1.1M.
Following the execution of its letter of intent announced on 14th July, 2026, Lexston Mining Corporation’s wholly owned subsidiary, Lexston Guyana Inc., has commenced drafting a definitive purchase agreement with claim‑holder Joseph Jardine.
The definitive agreement is intended to set out the terms for Lexston to acquire a 100% interest in 15 mineral claims in Region One, Mining District Five, Northwest Guyana.
