TTDF corporal convicted over alleged sexual assault of subordinate

A TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO Defence Force (TTDF) corporal has been convicted of two military offences arising out of an alleged sexual assault of a subordinate at the TTDF Reserves headquarters in Chaguaramas three years ago.

Documents received by the Express show that the corporal was found guilty of both charges following a court martial which concluded yesterday.

The charges stemmed from an incident on September 6, 2023, involving a woman who was assigned to the Junior Leaders Club at the Chaguaramas facility.
