Kaieteur News- Head of the Guyana Police Force’s (GPF) Special Branch Unit, Senior Superintendent, Prem Narine is now claiming that he was shot at first following reports that police ranks on Monday night opened gunfire on Opposition Leader, Azruddin Mohamed.
Kaieteur News reported earlier this morning that the GPF had failed to respond to claims that its ranks shot at Mohamed while he was reportedly driving past the Prem Narine’s home in an attempt to film what he called misuse of state resources by having heavy police security presence at his (Prem Narine) personal property.
The GPF in a later statement said that Narine was the one who shot at the Opposition Leader’ car but he did after he came under gunfire first.
