YOUTH representative on the former Constitutional Reform Committee Sujae Boswell is adamant that greater bipartisan cooperation and sustained momentum are needed to prevent further delays in Jamaica’s transition to a republic.

Boswell’s comments came during an interview with the Jamaica Observer as the governing Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) and the Opposition People’s National Party (PNP) continue to point fingers at each other over the stalled constitutional reform process.

He argued that constitutional reform should never become a contest between political parties.
