For 20 years, CNC3 has lived its mantra — “We are, where you are.” Trusted by the nation as a leading source of news and information, CNC3 has stood firmly at the heart of Trinidad and Tobago’s story. From breaking developments that shape policy at the highest levels of society, to the everyday struggles and triumphs of ordinary citizens, CNC3 has brought truth, balance, and connection to every household. As a media house, its reach spans boardrooms and backyards alike, earning the trust of all. At 20, CNC3 reaffirms its commitment to being wherever the people are. In an age when independent, professional journalism is more important than ever before, the Association of Caribbean Media Workers (ACM) congratulates CNC3 on its 20th anniversary of quality news and entertainment.
The ACM commends this milestone and hopes the station continues to grow in strength, as Trinidad and Tobago, the region, and the wider world increasingly rely on decision-making based on sensible, clear, and accurate information, now threatened by growing mis and disinformation.
Globally, societies are grappling with a tidal wave of information competing for attention. Content production has become cheaper and more accessible, with many platforms encouraging users not only to consume but to create and share media.
