Minister of Works and Infrastructure, Jearlean John, along with her team from the Ministry, joined Chairman Kenwyn Phillip and council members of the Sangre Grande Regional Corporation for a series of site visits across the Cumuto/Manzanilla and Toco/Sangre Grande constituencies on Wednesday.
The visit began at the Ministry of Works, Guaico, Sangre Grande, at 6 am. Locations visited included Guaico/Tamana, Bon Air Road, Cumuto, Gajadhar Road, Sangre Chiquito, Coryal, and Plum Road.
The ministry said these visits focused on addressing some of the region’s most urgent infrastructure challenges — including landslides, inadequate drainage systems, and deteriorating roadways.
