Po­lice are con­tin­u­ing in­ves­ti­ga­tions in­to the death of a Bel­mont man who re­port­ed­ly tripped and fell down the stair­way at his home.

An au­top­sy has been or­dered to de­ter­mine the cause of death of 61-year-old Ian Lea­cock of Mc­Dow­ell Trace, Up­per St Barbs Hill. Po­lice said there were no signs of foul play.

Lea­cock was found ly­ing at the bot­tom of the ex­ter­nal stair­case to his home at about 12.30 am on De­cem­ber 28.
