(Kaieteur News) – Guyana has assumed a two-year leadership role within the Caribbean Aviation Safety and Security Oversight System (CASSOS), with the regional body convening its 29th Board of Directors Meeting in Georgetown on Friday.
The meeting, held at the Aiden by Best Western Hotel, was chaired by Director General of the Guyana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), Lt. Col. (Ret’d) Egbert Field, A.A., marking the first CASSOS board meeting under his chairmanship.
According to the GCAA, all CASSOS member states were represented at the meeting, which focused on several key regional aviation priorities.
