Plastic products manufacturer Rock Solid earns applause for rapid growth

MINISTER of state in the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce Delano Seiveright has hailed the management of Rock Solid Plastics Limited for its rapid expansion, describing it as a strong example of Jamaican entrepreneurship benefiting from a stable economic environment and government policies geared towards investment, production, and business growth.

Seiveright made the comments during a tour of the company’s Ashenheim Road manufacturing operation on Tuesday with Rock Solid Managing Director Andrew Simpson and Jamaica Business Development Corporation (JBDC) CEO Daenia Ashpole.

Established in 2020 with just five employees, Rock Solid has grown to more than 40 workers, while dramatically expanding production.
