Couple charged with murder of Shyana Ruiz

The couple who were detained in connection with the death of 25-year-old Shyana Ruiz last Wednesday, have been charged with murder.

Senior police officials confirmed the charges were proffered today, following which they were expected to appear in court.

Ruiz, of Quarry Road, Diego Martin was stabbed multiple times in the back, head, face, chest and hand, on July 29.
