Divali celebrations in Couva North illuminated Central Trinidad on Thursday evening, bringing the spirit of the Festival of Lights to life ahead of the official observance.
Hosted by Couva North MP and Minister of Works and Infrastructure Jearlean John, the event at Jerry Junction brought residents together for an evening of culture, community and celebration.
From dazzling performances to vibrant displays of music and dance, the festivities captured the spirit of Divali, celebrating the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil.
