The Police Complaints Authority (PCA) has raised concern over an increase in police-involved fatal shootings following the declaration of the nationwide State of Emergency (SoE) on July 18.
In a media statement yesterday, the PCA confirmed it is actively monitoring five incidents, all of which occurred within the first five days of the SoE.
As the independent body tasked with overseeing law enforcement conduct, the PCA said each case will be investigated in line with its legislative powers.
