Barbados-based Roberts Manufacturing Co Limited (RMCL) has returned to a profitable position following a reduction in operating expenses and increased sales on its margarine, edible oils and dog food products.
This was disclosed in Roberts’ first quarterly report since it went public on the Barbados Stock Exchange (BSE) in May. Roberts reported a consolidated net profit of BB$2.82 million (US$1.41 million) compared to its consolidated net loss of BB$419,000 in the June 2025 quarter.
“This turnaround was driven by higher sales volumes, a modest improvement in gross margin and significantly lower operating expenses,” stated the director’s report signed by Chairman Garfield Sinclair and Managing Director Jonathon Hart.
