Insurance giant Sagicor is supporting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade’s advice for Barbadians travelling overseas to secure adequate comprehensive travel insurance.
President and Chief Executive Officer of Sagicor General Insurance, Patrick Hinkson, emphasises that travel insurance should be considered an essential part of travel preparations, not an optional expense.
Yesterday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade highlighted concerns about the rising number of Barbadian nationals who have fallen ill or experienced accidents abroad, resulting in significant medical bills.
