Kennedy Lawrence was not looking for cancer when he discovered a lump in his wife’s breast.
His wife, Andrea, had been going about her daily life, unaware that she had stage 2 breast cancer. It was Lawrence’s observation during an intimate moment that prompted her to seek medical attention.
“To be honest with you, it was just a normal night. Nothing out of the ordinary. We were spending time together as husband and wife, and I noticed something that didn’t feel right,” Lawrence recalled. “I wasn’t sure what it was, but I knew it was something we needed to check. At no point did I imagine that it would turn out to be cancer.”
