Police are investigating the theft of a Toyota Fortuner from the MovieTowne car park in Port of Spain on Saturday night.

According to reports, the 42-year-old victim parked her midnight blue Toyota Fortuner, registration number PDL 6387, around 8 p.m. on September 27 at the eastern side of the compound near the KFC outlet. She secured the SUV by locking all doors and windows and attached the key to her pants loop before leaving.

When she returned around 9.24 p.m., she saw the vehicle being driven away, heading west out of the car park before proceeding east along the Audrey Jeffers Highway. She later discovered that the vehicle key was missing.
