STUDENTS at Jamaica House Basic School were all smiles as Canada’s High Commissioner Mark Berman joined them for a reading session in observance of Read Across Jamaica Day.
The high commissioner read aloud and engaged with students, highlighting the importance of early childhood literacy and encouraging a love of reading from a young age.
The visit also included a donation of storybooks and school supplies to support literacy development and classroom learning.
