UNITED States deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau arrived in Trinidad and Tobago yesterday for an official visit focused on strengthening bilateral relations, with energy, security and economic cooperation expected to feature prominently in his discussions.
Landau was greeted on arrival by Minister of Foreign and Caricom Affairs Sean Sobers and US Chargé d’Affaires Philip Kern.
During his visit, Landau is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar to discuss shared energy and security priorities and ways to advance economic cooperation between Trinidad and Tobago and the United States.
