Police reportedly carried out a major operation at a property along Marshall Trace, Cunupia, on Sunday, detaining several individuals in connection with alleged prostitution activities.
According to sources, 47 foreign nationals and seven local women were taken into custody during the exercise. Patrons present at the property were reportedly temporarily detained, handcuffed, and questioned by officers believed to be attached to the Counter-Trafficking Unit.
The detainees were processed using a data-capture system and held for questioning until early Monday morning under the current State of Emergency regulations.
