A 21-YEAR-OLD and a teenager appeared before the court charged with attempted murder, after a man was allegedly struck with a shovel during an altercation at Palmiste Park, San Fernando.
Kamalludin Sooknanan and a 17-year-old coconut vendor faced Master Sarah De Silva on Monday.
Police prosecutor Anthony Jacob made no objection to bail as he noted that neither of the two had criminal records. However, he asked the court to impose stringent bail conditions as the victim was still warded at the San Fernando General Hospital.
