Of­fi­cers of the Trinidad and To­ba­go Po­lice Ser­vice con­duct­ing a Cannabis Erad­i­ca­tion Op­er­a­tion be­tween 6 am and 8 am on Thurs­day in Mo­ri­ah, To­ba­go, dis­cov­ered and de­stroyed an es­ti­mat­ed $125,000 worth of cannabis.

Dur­ing the op­er­a­tion, the TTPS says PC Thor­pe led a group of of­fi­cers in­to a forest­ed area ap­prox­i­mate­ly 360 me­ters off North­side Road, Cas­tara.

There, of­fi­cers dis­cov­ered one cannabis field oc­cu­py­ing ap­prox­i­mate­ly one lot of land. The field con­tained an es­ti­mat­ed 250 ful­ly grown cannabis plants.
