‘Double your money’: Woman hands TikTok creator $7,000

A 37-year-old woman has reported to police that she handed over $7,000 to a TikTok content creator who allegedly promised to quickly double her investment.
The woman, of Duncan Street, east Port of Spain, made a report at the Besson Street Police Station earlier this week.
According to the report, the woman contacted the suspect after seeing videos on his TikTok page advertising an investment opportunity in which money given to him would be doubled.
