Police are trying to determine the identify of a man believed to be a Venezuelan national who was fatally shot in Mayaro yesterday.
Officers of the Mayaro Police Station found the bloody body around 5.30 pm a few feet from the road at Grand Lagoon. There were tattoos with Spanish writing across the chest. The words were not clearly visible as they were covered in blood.
He appeared to be in his 30s and was clad in a black short plans and boxers.
