Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar and her Cabinet are being urged to immediately establish a national coordination task force to guide the country through multiple crises.

Regional security consul­tant and former executive director, National Operations Centre (NOC), Dr Garvin Heerah made the appeal during an interview with the Sunday Express yesterday and which following widespread panic on Friday.

“It was a bit worrisome and concerning with regard to the panic and anxiety and, literally, the tiptoeing close to chaos that took place on Friday,” he said.
