(Kaieteur News) – Regional conglomerate ANSA McAL says Guyana delivered standout growth of 19.7% in the first half of 2026, contributing TT$490 million to the Group’s revenue and outperforming most of its other markets.

Announcing its financial results on Friday, the company said the performance reflects resilient operations across its portfolio and continued market confidence in the group’s strategic direction.

In its financial highlights, ANSA McAL reported that overall revenue rose 3% to TT$3.790 billion, up from TT$3.687 billion in the corresponding period last year, with growth recorded across every market except Barbados and the United States. Guyana was the standout performer, growing 19.7% to TT$490 million, compared to TT$410 million in 2025. Adjusted EBITDA rose 8% to TT$751 million, up from TT$696 million, while profit before tax from continuing operations climbed 25% to TT$401 million, compared to TT$322 million a year earlier. Earnings per share grew 50%, rising to TT$1.50 from TT$1.00.
