A 49-year-old teacher has been charged with possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking, following an incident at St Julien Presbyterian School, Princes Town.
According to police, around 2.10 pm on Tuesday, officers were on exercise in the Princes Town district when they responded to a report at the school. Police said they searched the teacher, who lives at Reform Village, and found a quantity of cocaine on his person. The drugs weighed 3.2 grams.
The man was arrested and taken to the Princes Town Police Station, where he was charged.
