The teacher charged with having cocaine while at the primary school he teaches, has been sent to the St Ann’s Hospital for evaluation.
Kevin Doman, 49 of Reform Village, will reappear before the court on October 16.
Doman, a teacher for the past 20 years, faced Master Kimitria Gray on Thursday. Defence attorney Petronilla Basdeo told the court that a psychiatric evaluation may be necessary for the teacher who was recently discharged from ward one at the San Fernando General Hospital.
