Independent senator Helon Francis is the 2025 Calypso Monarch.
Francis copped the title in the wee hours of this morning with his song "To Whom It May Concern", in a keenly contested competition that put last year's winner Machel Montano in the fifth place with "Bet Meh."
The Last Badjohn of Calypso Kurt Allen placed second with "Your Turn Now", while crowd favourite Yung Bredda (Akhenaton Lewis) placed third with "We Rise."
