An Enterprise man was ambushed and shot dead in Enterprise, Chaguanas, on Saturday.

Police said that around 8.20 a.m. Dwayne Bayne, 33, of Crown Trace, Enterprise was riding his bicycle along Crown Trace. When he got to the corner of Postman Drive and Crown Trace he was ambushed and shot in the head and right shoulder. He died at the scene.

Residents who heard the gunshots contacted police while others began making videos of Bayne’s body on the roadway and began sharing it on social media.
