KINGSTON, Jamaica—Two men have been charged with possession of criminal property following two separate incidents in St James last week.
Charged are 30-year-old Michael Stewart, of Fullersfield, Grange Hill, Westmoreland, and Paradise, Norwood, St James, and 23-year-old Demar Atkinson, a construction worker of Top Edinburgh, Coral Gardens, St James.
Reports are that on Saturday, August 8, about 11:35 pm, Atkinson and another person, who were armed with a firearm, allegedly alighted from a motor vehicle and proceeded to rob several individuals of their property before escaping in the same motor vehicle with the stolen items. A report was made to the police and an investigation launched.
