The new Coat of Arms, featuring a gold steelpan and two pan sticks replacing Christopher Columbus’ three ships, is officially in use from today.
Both the Office of the Prime Minister and the Trinidad and Tobago Government Communications have updated their official Facebook pages to reflect the change.
Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley first announced the redesign on August 18, 2024, during a special PNM convention at the National Academy of the Performing Arts (NAPA).
