The charred re­mains of a hu­man body were dis­cov­ered ear­ly Tues­day morn­ing off Buen In­ten­to Road in Princes Town.

Po­lice say the body was found in a bushy area by a man who had gone to pick chadon beni. In­ves­ti­ga­tors were still work­ing to de­ter­mine the vic­tim’s iden­ti­ty up to press time.

The dis­cov­ery has trig­gered a homi­cide in­ves­ti­ga­tion, but de­tails re­main scarce. Of­fi­cers from the Princes Town Po­lice Sta­tion and the Homi­cide Bu­reau of In­ves­ti­ga­tions (Re­gion III) vis­it­ed the scene.
