Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar and Opposition Leader Pennelope Beckles have extended congratulations to Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley following her historic third consecutive victory in Barbados’ February 11, 2026, General Elections.
Speaking on behalf of the Government and people of Trinidad and Tobago, Persad-Bissessar praised Mottley’s leadership and the confidence shown by the Barbadian electorate. She also congratulated the Barbados Labour Party on its decisive success and the people of Barbados for a peaceful democratic exercise.
“This renewed mandate reflects the deep confidence of the Barbadian people in Prime Minister Mottley’s leadership, and in the vision, record, and achievements of the BLP. Her resounding victory stands as a powerful affirmation of trust earned and leadership proven,” Persad-Bissessar said. She described securing a third consecutive landslide as an exceptional accomplishment and a testament to Mottley’s commitment to national development, resilience, and progress.
