Representatives of We Invest in Nationhood (WIN) and A Partnership for National Unity (APNU) met Monday morning in Campbellville for nearly an hour, with the two sides agreeing to prepare a joint statement outlining the outcome of their discussions.

The meeting began at approximately 11:00 a.m. at the Bransville Boardroom and comes amid mounting calls for Guyana’s opposition forces to overcome their differences and find common ground on matters of national importance.

Following the meeting, Village Voice News contacted WIN General Secretary and Member of Parliament Odessa Primus, who confirmed that the two sides had agreed to work on a joint statement for release to the public later Monday.
