Road deaths in Trinidad and Tobago have fallen by 29 per cent compared with this time last year, with 62 people killed in road traffic accidents so far in 2026.
There were 87 road deaths recorded during the corresponding period in 2025.
The latest fatality occurred on Monday night when an unidentified man was struck by a car while attempting to cross the Uriah Butler Highway near Prestech Limited.
