Factoring system underway for contractors says PM Mottley

Major news for some businesses as Government moves ahead with its promise to introduce a factoring system.

Factoring is a financial arrangement in which contractors sell unpaid government invoices to a third-party company in exchange for immediate cash.

Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley made the announcement while delivering the Leo Leacock Memorial Lecture, as part of the Small Business Week activities.
