Grand Kadooment Day is in full swing as thousands of masqueraders continue to fill the road with colour and energy for the grand finale of Crop Over 2026.
For the past several hours, bands have been making their way along the parade route, with revellers showcasing elaborate costumes, dancing to the sounds of soca, and celebrating Barbados’ culture and creativity. Along the sidelines, spectators have gathered to cheer on the bands and capture the colourful displays.
Stacia Bryan, festival and events planner at the National Cultural Foundation (NCF), said the production has been progressing smoothly, with thousands of participants and support teams working together to deliver a successful Grand Kadooment.
