Housing Minister Says Procurement Changes Will Improve Housing Delivery

Minister of Housing Dr David Lee says upcoming legislative changes to the procurement process are expected to streamline project delivery and support the development of more homes in Trinidad and Tobago.

Speaking during an inspection of the Housing Development Corporation’s The Canopies At Caura project in Tunapuna on Tuesday, the Minister said the reforms are also expected to improve opportunities for home ownership.

“Tomorrow in the Parliament the changes that will be taking place in the procurement legislation is critical not only for delivering homes but delivering proper governance to the people of Trinidad and Tobago.”
