INDEPENDENT Senator Anthony Vieira, SC, says heightened US-Venezuela tensions has the potential to undermine the economic fundamental upon which the 2025/2026 budget rests.
He made this observation in his contribution to the budget debate in the Senate on October 27.
Vieira said Trinidad and Tobago finds itself today dealing with uncertainty in its economy, region and in the wider world.
