THE PEOPLE’S NATIONAL MOVEMENT (PNM) is demanding an immediate independent investigation into the allegation that Minister of Homeland Security Roger Alexander met with gang leaders before and after the last general election at a State prison.

In a news release issued yesterday, the PNM urged the Prime Minister “to act swiftly and decisively to preserve the integrity of our democracy, public trust in our institutions and protect the safety and security of the people of Trinidad and Tobago.”
