Hundreds of runners, walkers and wheelchair participants are expected to lace up this Saturday as the Jamaica Energy Partners (JEP) Group aims to raise $3 million to boost cancer care for Jamaican children and their families.
The company's annual RAYZ for Life Cancer Awareness Campaign 5K Run, Walk and Wheel takes place on Saturday, July 18, starting at 6:00 a.m. at the Shortwood Football Field, with participants completing the 5K route along Norbrook Loop.
The fundraising event, now in its fifth staging, is the flagship initiative of JEP's RAYZ for Life campaign, which promotes cancer awareness while mobilising support for oncology care across Jamaica.
