A security guard accused of stealing a $54 000 car and other property was granted $20 000 bail when he appeared in court on an indictable theft charge.
Demarkko Shaquille Coombs, 31, of St Patricks, Christ Church, is accused of stealing the car, a $1 000 watch, a bat worth $600, two pairs of shoes valued at $500 and a car key worth $713.21 belonging to Jafari Toppin, and a $700 mobile phone belonging to the National Sports Council.
He was not required to plead to the indictable offence, which allegedly occurred on September 26.
