(Kaieteur News) A Cuban labourer, Guindo Mestre Yoilan, 49 of Laluni Street, Queenstown, Georgetown is nursing a stab wound to the left side of his abdomen after six bandits attacked him near his home on Tuesday for his electric bike valued at $80,000.
The robbery took place around 00:00hrs (midnight), police said. The victim said he was pushing his black E-Bike along Laluni Street when six men approached him from the opposite direction. They tried to grab the bike from him but he held on to it.
One of the men armed with a knife stabbed the victim to the abdomen before he fell to the ground.
