There are mixed views about the Tobago Marine Parks Bill, 2026, passed by the Tobago House of Assembly Legislature on Thursday.
At Store Bay, Swallows, and Pigeon Point, some say consultation is needed, while others are concerned about how it will be enforced.
However, they all agree that an outright ban on jet skis should be reconsidered. Instead, they are lobbying for a designated area in which to operate jet skis, away from shoreline bathers.
