(Kaieteur News) â Families affected by the MV Barima disaster are being advised to seek independent legal advice before accepting any money being offered by the government.
Attorney Nigel Hughes, in a notification issued to victims and relatives, said people should be careful about signing documents connected to any payment.
His warning comes as the commission of inquiry into the 18th July disaster is yet to commence.
