Pan Trinbago has officially launched August Fest Steelpan Month, highlighting the history, cultural significance and global impact of Trinidad and Tobago’s national instrument.
Held under the theme “Rhythm and Rise: Youth, Discipline, Culture, Community”, the initiative will feature a series of events throughout August.
Speaking at the launch, Pan Trinbago President Beverley Ramsey-Moore said the steelpan remains a symbol of national upliftment and one of the few forces capable of uniting the country.
