KINGSTON, Jamaica — A fire at the Petrojam refinery on Marcus Garvey Drive in Kingston has been extinguished, with the company confirming that no one was injured and there has been no impact on fuel supplies.
In a statement Friday morning, Petrojam General Manager Danville Walker said all employees who were on duty at the time of the incident have been accounted for.
“First, all of our staff members are accounted for; there were no injuries to any of our staff on duty. Our employee support team is on site to provide any additional assistance,” he said.
