An 18-year-old woman was arrested on Tuesday afternoon after allegedly attempting to use forged documents during a transaction at the Licensing Office along the Southern Main Road in Caroni.
According to police, the incident occurred around 2:30 p.m., when a licensing clerk alerted the Caroni Police Station, reporting that a customer had presented suspicious documents while conducting business.
Responding officers launched an investigation on-site, interviewing several employees and collecting relevant documents for examination. They later met with the female suspect, who is from Dookiesingh Street, St. Augustine.
